What is the number one reason to reject The Book of Mormon, Ellen G. White’s writings, the Quran, The New World Translation, The Passion Translation? Because they are not orthodox! They are not what the church has always had. They present new doctrines that was not sealed in the preserved word.

So why would we turn around and accept the ESV that teaches new errors?

Here is a short list of errors in the ESV:

  1. Mark 1:2 – Isaiah did not say this Malachi did – Malachi 3:1
  2. Phil 2:5-8 – Jesus did not consider equality with God a thing to be grasped – but he did (see Jn 10:30, Mt 9:6, Jn 8:58)
  3. Luke 2:33 – Joseph is listed as Jesus’ father
  4. John 7:8-10 – Jesus lies
  5. 2 Sam 21:19 -David did not slay Goliath
  6. Luke 2:22 – Joseph and Jesus needed to be purified
  7. Mt 5:22 – it is a sin to get angry (Jesus was angry Mark 3:5)
  8. 1 Tim 6:5 – Paul forgets to conclude his sentence
  9. 1 Tim 3:16- Phillip refuses to answer the question
  10. 1 John 5:7- John suddenly does not know Greek and makes a nonsense statement 
  11. 1 John 5:7- The Trinity is not one
  12. Mark 10:24 – it is difficult to enter the Kingdom of God
  13. Proverbs 18:24 – Friends lead to ruin but Jesus has many friends John 15:15
  14. Micah 5:2 -Jesus is just really old not everlasting (created or God)
  15. Isaiah 53:9 – Jesus buried with a rich man in spite of him doing no violence – vs with the rich BECAUSE he did no violence and did not lie
  16. Psalms 145:13 – the Lord is kind in all his works? – Rm 12:19 
  17. Luke 4:4 – Luke forgets the Word of God (see Deu 8:3)
  18. Mt 6:13 – His is not the Kingdom, nor the power nor the glory forever
  19. John 19:20 (and several other places) the word Hebrew (Hebraïstí) is translated as Aramaic (Syristi).
